Victorian Department Of Education: Forcing Biological Males Into Girls’ Toilets, Showers, And Change Rooms – And Calling It “Inclusion”

The Victorian Department of Education’s official LGBTIQA+ Student Support Policy is crystal clear and still in force.

Schools must allow students to use toilets, showers, and change rooms “based on the student’s gender identity and whichever facilities they will feel most comfortable using.”

No medical diagnosis. No surgery. No objective test. Just self-ID.

That means a biological male — complete with male anatomy, post-puberty strength, height, and physiology — can walk into girls’ private spaces if he says he identifies as a girl.

The policy explicitly rejects defaulting such students to disabled facilities to protect girls’ privacy.

This is not a fringe suggestion.

It is mandated statewide guidance for government schools, backed by Victoria’s Equal Opportunity Act treating “gender identity” as superior to biological sex in these contexts.

This Is Exceptionally Wrong

Biology Is Not Bigotry

Girls’ toilets, showers, and change rooms exist for a reason:

Biological sex differences.

Males are, on average, stronger, taller, and have different genitalia and privacy needs.

Putting male-bodied students in female spaces exposes girls to male-pattern voyeurism risks, physical intimidation, and the simple loss of dignity in states of undress.

Crime data worldwide shows the overwhelming majority of sexual offences are committed by males.

Self-ID policies have produced documented incidents in schools, prisons, and shelters elsewhere — discomfort, avoidance of facilities, and worse.

Denying this is ideological denialism, not compassion.

Girls Are Told To Suck It Up For Someone Else’s Feelings

Their safety, privacy, and boundaries are secondary.

This is the opposite of child protection.

Multicultural Victoria: Where’s The Cultural Sensitivity?

Victoria is proudly multicultural.

Melbourne and outer suburbs have large Muslim communities, along with other groups that maintain strong norms around sex-based modesty, privacy, and separation in intimate spaces.

Many Muslim families practice gender segregation in bathrooms, changing areas, mosques, and schools for religious and cultural reasons — rooted in concepts of modesty (haya), avoidance of fitnah, and protection of female dignity.

These parents send their daughters to public schools expecting single-sex facilities to align with their faith and values.

Instead, the Department of Education rams through a policy that treats girls’ spaces as open to any male who claims a female identity.

No Consultation. No Opt-Out. No Cultural Sensitivity Training For This Reality.

This is rank hypocrisy.

The same bureaucracy obsessed with “diversity, equity, and inclusion” suddenly forgets cultural competence when it clashes with gender ideology.

Muslim girls (and girls from other modest cultures) face double jeopardy: their religious boundaries are trampled while the Department virtue-signals about trans inclusion.

Parents are rightly furious when they discover this — if they discover it at all, given policies that can sideline them via “mature minor” provisions.

High-multiculturalism schools amplify the harm.

Communities with higher proportions of Muslim, conservative, or immigrant families expect sex-segregated spaces as a baseline for safety and respect.

The policy erases that without debate, imposing a narrow Western progressive dogma on everyone.

Cultural Sensitivity For Thee, But Not For Me

Time To Shake The Department

This isn’t compassionate policy — it’s reckless social engineering that prioritises feelings over facts, one minority’s comfort over the majority of girls’ rights, and ideology over evidence from places like the UK Cass Review that have slammed weak foundations for youth gender interventions.

Victorian parents — especially in diverse suburbs — deserve to know exactly what the Department is imposing on their daughters.

Demand The Policy Be Scrapped

Prioritise Actual Safety And Privacy For All Girls, Without Exception
