Another Female Prisoner Assaulted by a Man in a Dress – Now the Next Male Predator Is Suing for Access
Victorian taxpayers are staring down yet another huge payout because a biological male predator is preparing to sue the Allan government over his treatment inside a women’s jail.
The Herald Sun can reveal the government is bracing for a legal challenge from a pedophile prisoner – a biological male known as Hilary Maloney – after he was moved into isolation at the state’s only maximum-security women’s prison, the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, following publicity of his case last year.
This latest farce comes hot on the heels of the Herald Sun exposing that the Allan government secretly compensated a female prisoner who was sexually assaulted by another biological male – a convicted murderer who changed his name to Clinton Rintoull at the time of his crime, then began identifying as a woman while serving a 20-year sentence. That male was then transferred into the minimum-security Tarrengower women’s prison near Maldon in central Victoria.
Premier Jacinta Allan has refused to tell Victorians how much of their money was handed over to the victim of that assault.
The Maloney case is now set to pile even more pressure on Victoria’s reckless trans-prisoner policy and force a long-overdue public debate about women’s safety – a debate that could explode into a major political headache for the government ahead of the November election.
Maloney was jailed in 2024 for the vile sexual abuse of his own five-year-old daughter. He then sent graphic footage of that abuse to an American sex offender he called “master.”
The scandal finally forced Corrections Victoria to act. Corrections Minister Enver Erdogan demanded that prisoners’ actual offending history must now take precedence over their self-declared “trans status.” Last month the department quietly ditched the dangerous old rule that a person “should be imprisoned in the prison of their gender rather than their sex assigned or assumed at birth” as a guiding principle.
Enough is enough.
Biological men do not belong in women’s prisons – full stop. How many more female inmates have to be assaulted before we drop the pretence, stop the virtue-signalling, and simply do the right thing: keep men out of women’s jails? Victorian women – both inside and outside prison – deserve actual protection, not political correctness that puts predators in their cells.
