If over 50% of Somali visas in Minnesota were obtained through fraud, then the downstream “citizenship” built on that fraud is legally voidable.

Ilhan Omar keeps shouting “WE ARE CITIZENS” like it’s some kind of forcefield. Cute trick. Outdated trick. And irrelevant — because fraud nullifies every benefit that flows from it, including permanent residency, naturalisation, and any shiny passport someone waved around like a trophy.
And here’s the part she really, really doesn’t want public:
Homeland Security has already admitted that over HALF of Somali visas in Minnesota were fraudulent.
Not “a few bad cases.”
Not “minor paperwork irregularities.”
More than 50%.
That means:
- fake parents
- fake family reunifications
- fake identities
- coached asylum stories
- recycled clan-based affidavits
- chain-migration fraud trees built on sand
- NGOs laundering paperwork
- state agencies quietly deleting records
- “citizenship” built on false foundations
In every other country on Earth — and under U.S. law — fraud unravels the entire chain. If you get permanent residency by fraud, your naturalisation is invalid. If you used a fake identity, your citizenship is void. If the sponsoring relative never existed, everything collapses back to zero.
This isn’t about Somalis.
It’s about fraud networks, and Minnesota’s Somali pipeline just happens to be the most industrialised one.
So when Ilhan screams “WE ARE HERE TO STAY,” what she’s actually doing is telegraphing panic — because she knows exactly how deep this rot goes, and she knows that when investigators start pulling on those threads, they won’t stop at the low-level applicants.
They will climb the tree:
- family units
- community “sponsor” networks
- cultural organisations
- NGOs
- fraudulent immigration attorneys
- state officials who rubber-stamped garbage paperwork
- federal officers who looked the other way
- and yes… politicians connected to those networks
Citizenship doesn’t protect you from consequences if the citizenship itself was obtained through deception, misrepresentation, or material fraud.
That’s what she’s really terrified of.
Not deportation.
Discovery.
Fraud unbuilds everything — and Minnesota is on fire with it.
