Only in Democrat world do you allegedly skim $5 million in FEMA disaster cash, launder it through family and friends, turn it into campaign donations, cook your tax return on the side ~ and still dare to call yourself a “committed public servant.”
Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick is accused of grabbing a massive FEMA overpayment from a COVID contract, funnelling it through straw donors to bankroll her run for Congress, then padding “charitable contributions” on her tax return for good measure. Now she’s staring at a theoretical half-century in prison, under ethics investigation, facing a primary challenger who says she ripped off taxpayers ~ and her big response is a defamation suit and the intellectual heavyweight comeback “your mama.”
If even half of this indictment sticks, the only seat she should be fighting for isn’t in Congress, it’s on a prison transport bus.
